It Can Do it All
The AGA 60, measuring only 60cm, may be compact, but it packs a punch in functionality. Ideal for smaller kitchens, it features two spacious cast-iron heat storage ovens: the upper one is perfect for roasting or baking, while the lower oven is designed for simmering.
These ovens heat up in just 60 minutes, and you can also opt for an external pre-heating timer that allows you to program your roasting or baking oven to turn on up to three times a day, ensuring it's ready when you are.
This cooker shines when it comes to preparing meals for a large group, thanks to its roomy AGA ovens that can hold multiple baking trays and tins.
Iconic AGA Hotplate
The AGA 60 provides the option of an AGA hotplate or a gas hob, allowing you to choose what best fits your cooking style. The hotplate, crafted from cast iron, can easily switch between boiling and simmering.
With a quick heat-up time of just 10 to 12 minutes, the hotplate can be turned off when not in use, helping you save up to 50% on energy costs.
When set to boil, the hotplate generates intense heat for rapidly boiling water, maintaining a vigorous boil, and is perfect for quick stir-fries in a wok. The simmering setting is perfect for gently bringing dishes to a simmer, making it ideal for warming milk, preparing scrambled eggs, and creating sauces. You can also cook directly on the hotplate, making delightful crepes, drop scones, and toasted sandwiches.
Controllable Gas Hob
If you enjoy cooking over an open flame, the AGA 60 offers a fantastic four-burner gas hob. It includes two semi-rapid burners, one rapid burner, and a spacious wok burner, perfect for handling large pans and stir-frying.
This gas hob operates on natural gas and is user-friendly, with each burner linked to a rotary control dial for easy adjustments. For added safety, all burners are equipped with a flame failure device that automatically shuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out.
